Fitter Radio Long Distance Training Camp 2016
The Fitter Radio Long Distance Training Camp offers you the opportunity to improve your fitness and technique, extend your training and nutrition knowledge and increase your chances of race day success. Based out of Taupo athletes will be training on the IMNZ course and familiarising themselves with what it has to offer in terms of terrain, weather and water conditions. The camp will be structured to accommodate athletes of all abilities and is perfectly positioned for those athletes doing either IMNZ, Challenge Wanaka or just wanting to experience the benefits of being involved in an endurance training camp.
FITTER Head Coach Bevan McKinnon has experience in facilitating iron distance specific camps and knows what training and coaching is required to ensure maximum benefit for endurance athletes. With access to expert coaching from Bevan and nutritional advice from Fitter Radio's Mikki Williden, you’ll have every opportunity to discover what it takes to compete in an endurance triathlon event to the best of your ability.
Join us for this four-day training camp which includes not only iron distance specific training sessions but also sessions on nutrition and the principles of race pacing strategy. All training will be coached and fully supported and all food options will be fresh, nutritious and wholesome following the principles outlined in our Fitter Radio podcast.
