I originally come from a running background, where I ran for
New Zealand at junior level, but have now been involved at
the competitive
end of triathlon for more than a decade, including racing professionally
in Europe, America and Asia for the past six years. During that time
I have represented New Zealand at the elite level at both Olympic
and Long Distance triathlon, and as well as training with many of
the world’s top triathletes, was Hamish Carter’s main training partner
prior to his Gold Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

I graduated from Auckland University in 2003 with a degree in Sport
and Exercise Science, and a Post-graduate diploma in Health Science.
For the past several years I have been actively coaching a range
of people, including triathletes, runners and people with general
fitness goals, and am currently completing my coaching accreditation
with Triathlon NZ.
